Introduction Arc
Naruto, born as an orphan, was always shunned and looked down upon by the villagers of the Hidden Leaf. As a boy who has been largely ignored and resented, Naruto always tried to get other peoples attention by acting out through shenanigans and committing foolish and delinquent activities. For example, he spray-painted the Stone Head Statues of Konoha's Hokages at the front and foremost area of the village, as is shown in the opening scene in the Naruto series. Although Naruto successfully misleads two ninjas who chase him down for his disrespectful and offensive acts, his sensei, Iruka, manages to catch him. After he gets lambasted for what he has done, Iruka decides to take Naruto out for their favorite meal-- ramen at the Ichiraku (一楽ラーメン) stand. It should be noted that the word "Naruto" signifies the small swirling spirals of fish cakes usually found in ramen from Japan. ------> furthermore
